"TOPAZ CLASSIC ROCK BAND” Let us introduce our band to you …. We play a little Jazz, a little Country, a little Blues and a whole lot of good old fashioned Classic Rock. We have been playing music in and round the Province for three decades! Since the bands inception, Scott Boyes (bass/accoustic guitars and vocals) and John Fultz (keyboard and Vocals) have remained with the band. In 2003, Vikki Evans (lead vocals) joined the band; followed by Jerry Brown (drums and vocals) and Gerry Hlookoff (lead guitar and vocals) in 2010. We have been involved in a few other projects in the past including being on board with the BC Talent Search from the conception of the idea through all three years. We hope to see it back again soon, bigger and better than ever! Topaz has also been involved with Karen-Lee Batten for many years, being her Abbotsford band long before she became a household name by appearing on Canadian Idol. We have performed at many venues with Karen-Lee over the years including Vancouver’s G.M. Place & Nat Bailey Stadium and Abbotsford’s Rotary Stadium. Another project of ours is “QUIET INDUSTRIES” owned by Topaz' Scott Boyes. "Quiet" as we call it is a production company, providing music and sound for theatre and many other venues around the province. Quiet Industries is also involved in the Karaoke world, hosting two Karaoke Shows at present... They are: Tuesday Evening @ Half Time Lounge, Dogwood Bowling Lanes Abbotsford, B.C.; Wednesday Evening @ Sneakers Sports Lounge. Quiet Industries has also produced most of the music entertainment for Molly Hogan's Bar and Grill @ Hemlock Valley Ski Resort, for the '06-'07 ski seasons, and the '07-'08 ski seasons.
